No. Exchanging is not mutual. You and the other member both spend and earn points. FHE handles the conversion of points and ensuring all owners get suitable exchange options.
You can exchange unlimited times depending on your points balance. For every exchange you have to pay the exchange fee irrespective of the duration of exchange.
We have over 3500 holiday homes of all sizes and types on the exchange platform. These range from city apartments to countryside chalets. You will be able to find something suitable for every plan and group size.
The system allows you to make up the difference in cash thus ensuring no holiday is spoilt and no property is out of reach for our members. Keep in mind though that these extra payments are minimal and will always offer a significant value in comparison to booking with any travel agency.
The main difference is that exchanges don’t have to be simultaneous in order to happen (i.e. I don’t have to convince the owner of the property in which I want to stay to come stay at my house) and that FHE focuses on luxury properties.
Yes, you are allowed to charge a security deposit amount at your discretion which you can directly collect from your guests.
No. As part of exchanges you will not be expected to provide meals to the guests similarly, you will not be provided with meals when you go and stay at other properties. If you have a meals package you can charge separately for it on site.
An exchange is a transaction very similar to a rental except that you earn points instead of Dollars. As such, you must put in place all the safeguards that you put in when renting out your holiday home on Tripvillas.
